The McCreary County School District uses Shout (formally used One Call Now) as the primary communication method to keep our families informed about such things as school closings, important district events, or during an emergency-type situation where we need to quickly inform a large number of people. Shout service also provides "text messaging" capability in addition to voice message delivery options. Shout utilizes the existing telephone contact numbers that are maintained within our Student Information System (Infinite Campus) for every student enrolled in our school system. This information resides within the “Household” repository of Infinite Campus and is usually entered by an Enrollment Clerk during the student enrollment process. In the event you are a guardian, parent or other authorized caretaker of a student enrolled in our district and you are not receiving Shout messages, please contact the school where your student is enrolled and ask the enrollment clerk assigned to that school for assistance.
Our district now has a mobile app (Stay Connected) that displays district and school-related news, events, and notifications with the swipe of a finger. The Stay Connected app is FREE and available for both Apple iOS-based devices and Android-based devices. Please click on the links posted below to download the Stay Connected app for your particular mobile device:
