Important Statement about Meals Delivered on Friday, February 5
We have been notified by our vendor for the boxed meals, Preferred Meals, that there is a potential issue with some of the items that were distributed on Friday, February 5. Based on that, they have issued a voluntary withdrawal from the marketplace. They are urging customers to not consume those meals.
From Preferred Meals, “These actions are being undertaken as a result of a supply chain failure in temperature control. Due to this failure items may have already developed visible mold or have the potential for mold growth prior the best by date. We urge consumers not to consume these potentially affected products.” Here are the item codes and lot numbers for the potentially affected food. These codes and numbers should be found on stickers attached to the boxes.
