Director of Pupil Personnel

As the Director of Pupil Personnel for the McCreary County School District, my goal is to partner with families, students, and our school staff to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. In alignment with Kentucky’s state expectations for student attendance—which emphasize regular, on-time attendance as one of the strongest predictors of academic success I am committed to reducing barriers that keep students from being in school and supporting parents with the resources they need to help their children succeed.

In addition to overseeing district attendance, I serve as the School Safety Coordinator and supervisor of our School Resource Officers. In this role, my mission is to provide a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment where students feel protected and ready to learn every day. I work closely with families, school administrators, and community partners to implement safety procedures, improve communication, and ensure our SROs build positive, supportive relationships with students across all campuses.

Together, these responsibilities guide my core objective:
To create a school environment where students are present, supported, and safe because every day matters, and every child matters.

I look forward to working alongside parents and guardians as we continue building a stronger, safer, and more successful future for every student in McCreary County.
