Districtwide Services
Our goal as District-wide Services is to provide leadership for all schools in the development and implementation of a rigorous kindergarten through twelfth grade curriculum. The curriculum standards provide specific end of year expectations and a cumulative progression to enable students to meet college and career standards for the 21st century. The focus is to provide a compassionate, diverse, rigorous, and secure learning environment for every student.
District-wide Services responsibilities include working with principals, department heads, and subject matter specialist in developing the general philosophy and goals of the total school curriculum, instruction, school and district improvement plans, grants, professional development, certified evaluation, board policies, teacher interns, instruction for English Language Learners (ELL), School Report Cards, and personnel. Curriculum and instruction division also oversees Title II funds, Title VI funds, and leadership hours for administrators, and professional development in the schools.
