All schools plan to send home packets next week, so not everyone may have received theirs yet. There’s no need to worry—students will have plenty of time to complete their packets next week. Please stay safe! 9/26/2024
The McCreary County School District has been approved by the Kentucky Department of Education to implement Non-traditional Instruction (NTI).
This will give students a chance to be connected with learning during inclement weather when school is cancelled. Not every snow day will be used in this way, but when a day is designated as a Non-traditional day, you will be notified by phone, through local television stations, Facebook, and the McCreary County School Districts website.
When you receive a call that a snow day is being designated as a NTI Day, please have your child complete the work for that day and return the work to school when classes resume. Upon return to school, teachers will review the work and give appropriate feedback to parents and students.
Students have received information about NTI assignments geared to their needs and interests. The lessons will also be posted on each school’s webpage in the Quick Links section for your convenience. Please select the school (see links below) that your child attends and choose the NTI day that was announced.
Thanks,
Dr. Clint E. Taylor
