McCreary County Schools envisions that all students, staff, and administrators will have access to highly reliable data and voice telecommunications services. Our schools are connected to the Internet via high-speed fiber optic connections and all classrooms are equipped with modern, 21st century technologies such as interactive touch boards, document cameras, google classroom, and much more. All classrooms and offices within our district are also equipped with Voice over IP (VoIP) telephone services that utilize our existing data network for all voice communications. Within our district, we have more than 1800 computer workstations, over 4,000 Chromebooks, 20 file servers, and 200 wireless access points that are readily accessible to all students, staff, and administrators.
